Autumn Time!

It's that time of year where my birthday has gone way too quickly in between all the busy university stuff and the last few warm days of the season are behind us. Hopefully. Because I cannot wait for the leaves to turn yellow and the sun to set earlier and the air to turn colder. I can't wait to put on my winter coat and be totally legal listening to Christmas songs. I like summer, but I absolutely love autumn and the anticipation of winter. 

I especially love the fact that it's now socially acceptable to wear tights. You won't see me wearing a skirt without tights even in summer, but now no one will look at me like I'm a total idiot. I love tights. 

I also get really excited about all the colours, I want sweaters in every one of these colours (from this tumblr blog): 

I took a walk the other day which felt so much like autumn I had to take some pictures, and I ended up making a little video as well :) 

I sincerely hope autumn comes quickly, I can't wait.

Doctor Who Day!!

Hello everyone!!

Today, the 23rd of August, is Doctor Who Day, aka the day Doctor Who is on telivision again! I'm super excited, and therefore dressed myself for the occasion. I wore this cosplay last november at the 50th anniversary when we went to see it in cinema. I completely forgot to take pictures, but I'm making up for that now. 

I can't wait to meet Twelve and see what's going to happen! Have fun with the episode!

I totally believe The Doctor would have a cat as companion. After all, everybody talks to their cats! And they have lots of information on who lives where.. Like a strange man upstairs..

Oh and the shoes arrived only today, I am so happy with them. They're from Sacha and super comfortable and exactly what The Doctor would wear. By the way, I didn't buy them especially for the cosplay, don't worry.

April week 4

I can’t believe how fast the time is passing. It’s another month later! Before I know it I´m an old lady with fifty cats.

This week was fairly normal, apart from the fact that I bought a new memory card for my sister´s camera (I use hers all the time because I once dropped mine and broke the lens. I know. Stupid.) Now I can make more pictures. I did this especially for my awesome trips that I have coming up.
In two weeks I’ll be in Oslo! Expect lots of pictures of that soon :D I’m super excited. Even though I study Norwegian, I’ve never actually been in Norway. It’s about time.

Last Saturday was the first King’s Day in human history.

We used to have a queen, until her son and his wife took over last year. So I still say Queen's Day a lot, but it's King’s Day. Basically nothing was different from preceding years: there were free markets everywhere and the royal family visited a city which was being broadcast live on tv. It’ll change over the next few years though. No one knows what’ll change, but I bet they won’t make it any stupider, so I don’t really mind. We also ate a ‘tompouce’ and wore orange.

At the market, I managed to find an OlympusTrip 35 in pretty good condition, for only 1 euro :D My mum bought me and my sister a doll, because that is just awesome. 

Today I finally got around finding a place for my Doctor Who 50^th Anniversary poster! It’s got a special place on the inside of my bedroom door. 

Also, I added the page ‘books’ to the top of my blog. It’s basically a page with my Goodreads stats. (I still have to perfect it. The page isn't really doing what I want but I'll break him). I want to read more because I’m slacking horribly. I hope joining Goodreads was a good decision and that it will make me read more. Check it out, and feel free to recommend books to me, or become my friend!

Little Red Riding Hood

Hey everyone!

You might recognise the picture above since it is my new banner. I have changed the look of my blog a little bit and I'm really happy with the result. I have made these pictures last sunday. It was a beautiful autumn day, probably the last weekend with all the coloured leaves on the trees. I expect the trees to be empty next weekend so I had to make some pictures of the nature reserve that's close to my house. 

Also I have continued watching Once Upon A Time and started to love Little Red Riding Hood. I adore her character, both in Storybrooke and in the enchanted forest. She's smart, beautiful and funny. You can read here what I've written about the series before.

I will not give away any of the plot lines of Ruby, except that she is awesomely badass (if I might use that word).

Oh hello there kitty! This little man is called Frans. He's actually not ours, but he's been eating our cat food for over a year now, so we are like his foster family. He's such a sweet fellow!

Sweet! A new pair of shoes!

Hi!

A few days back my sister went to the thrift store and found some beautiful shoes. They were a bit too big for her so she asked me if I wanted them. She took them with her (after all, who would leave shoes that cost only three euros all alone in a shop?) and I tried them on. They are also slightly too big for me, but I can at least walk in them.

It was a bit rainy this morning, but during a short sunny period of time I was able to make some pictures with my sister Mayke. She was kind enough to help me out by making pictures of me. 

Meet Mellow, the sweet yet slightly slow pony who lives in a nice meadow behind our house.
