"Did I say an engagement is an elephant, ma'm?!"

Hey there!
My sister and I love Period dramas. Recently we watched Wives and Daughters, and we loved it. It was exactly what you can expect from a Costume drama. The characters were amazing, the story was typical, but original and the dresses.. Oh, the dresses.. The male clothes were cool too!

These are screenshots from the first episode:

YES! It's professor Dumbledore! And many others in many other Period dramas.

I love his outfit!

YES! It's Jane Bennet, from Pride and Prejudice! She's really cool here, as lady Harriet.

YES! It's mr. Collins, from Pride and Prejudice, and here he is actually really sweet!

You can watch it online here
Love,
Mia

PS: to understand the title of this post, you must watch it!

Broke again!

Hi!

Again I have to inform you that I have no money, while in need of a lot of stuff!
I did manage to order a beautiful skirt and some rings from h&m.

They were all rather cheap, and I can just pay next month.. Luckily I've finally found a job! Now I'm a shop assistant at the local supermarket. I'll start next tuesday, so I'll finally have some extra money and maybe I can buy all the stuff on my wishlist.
My Wishlist:

• Cover FX Concealer (for sale at Sephora)
• Body Shop sleep stuff, you spray it on your pillow and you'll get sleepy. I need it when my lullabies on my Ipod don't do the trick.
• Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader
You see, this is actually an old wishlist which I just saved on my computer, but I allready bought this DVD!! (And watched it several times)
• Something yellow to wear
As you can read up here, I just ordered a yellow skirt, so when it arrives I can cross that one out too!
• A necklace/bracelet
Well, I just bought three rings, so I cant wait untill July for more jewelery.
• Flowers for in my hair (like clips)
• Yellow All Stars (ooh, I've been wanting these for years, but I DON'T HAVE ENOUGH MONEY)
• A CD by The Gentlemen
I just ordered this too (I do have money for this though, I've kept it save untill they call me that it arrived)

Love,
Mia the Shop Assistant.

London

A few weeks ago I went to London. It was really amazing: a dream coming true.
London is the most amazing city I've ever been to.

Oh, the view!!

I love the fact that just one cabin is red.

I´m really going back one day, maybe even to live there!

Love,
Mia, back in The Netherlands

I love..

Summer music:

Happy films (and their soundtracks):

How to Train Your Dragon

A Knight's Tale

Which brings me to the next:

Heath Ledger

It's a pitty that I only just discovered how brilliant he is, because unfortunately, as you might know, he died. I'm really touched by his death; he was only twenty-eight years old when he got poisened by his medicine. It is said that it was no-ones fault, but still, how could it have happened? He was so amazing and so cool! It's not fair that a man like that had to die at his age.
I'm planning on watching every single film, episode and every interview he has ever done. I want to know what happened.

The bands who are coming to the EO-Youthday!
